Mar 26 at sea and overnight in Genoa – Our cabin on the ferry was small but nice and the journey was uneventful. Food wasn't much to rave about and it took forever to unload the ferry meaning we got to the hotel very late.

Mar 27 Drive Genoa to Oberammergau – A very easy drive through the Alps punctuated by stops by the police in every country due to the handwritten temporary plates on the car. Only a 6 hour drive otherwise.
